Clean Plates, Zero Waste

412 Food Rescue’s Clean Plate Cooking Classes focus on healthy eating and eliminating food waste with nutritious and delightful recipes that are simple enough to make at home.

Our classes balance verified nutrition information with no-waste recipes that save both time and money. Your team will engage in a meaningful experience that will directly benefit 412 Food Rescue’s Food Education Program to provide comprehensive nutrition and healthy cooking classes to our nonprofit partners.

Hands-On Cooking Classes

Susan Seletz

Susan Seletz

Instructor

Susan Seletz is a Pittsburgh native and CMU graduate who returned in 2015, having lived in numerous metropolitan areas in the US and abroad. A consumer products professional, she worked for Clairol and Procter & Gamble International before embarking on her second career in the food industry. Susan joined Figlio of Columbus in their scratch kitchen, where she remained for five years before teaching Cooking Matters classes there and then piloting the program in Pittsburgh with 412 Food Rescue.
