Do you know that emotional high you feel whenever you rescue food? Did you ever want to share that feeling with other people? Or maybe you want to help us get the word out about the importance of ending food waste and hunger?
Well now you can easily invite your friends and family to become #FoodRescueHeroes. Just tap on Invite Friends, choose a few contacts, add a personal note if you like, and that’s it. Your friends will receive a link to download the app and we’ll help them get started.
About Impact
Another way to spread the love is with Impact. There you’ll find real-time data showing the impact that #FoodRescueHeroes in your community are making.
See your personal impact, your metro area’s impact, or the nationwide impact of the Food Rescue Hero movement (including Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Cleveland, Philadelphia, and Prince William County VA). And you can share these infographics via Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. We think it’s pretty amazing to be able to see numbers that demonstrate exactly how much good this community of Heroes is doing every single day!
