412 Food Rescue is excited to onboard UPMC McKeesport as a new food donor!
UPMC McKeesport joins 412 Food Rescue in their commitment to reduce food waste by partnering as a new food donor with the food rescue organization.
During their first month, they donated a total of 1,103 lbs of food from their food services program!
UPMC has been a lucrative partner of 412 Food Rescue over the years with a total 35,879 lbs donated since 2022. Last year, we began the process of onboarding all UPMC facilities within our region to support their goals of reducing food waste and giving back to their local communities.
We look forward to our continued work with UPMC McKeesport, and are excited to leverage this partnership to not only reduce food waste, but increase food access in the Greater Pittsburgh region!
