Leland Scales recently joined the 412 Food Rescue team sharing responsibility in field operations. Leland earned an M.A. in Food Studies from Chatham University, concentrating in urban agriculture, agricultural business, and food marketing. With 15 years of experience in culinary arts, Leland has worked with food for the majority of his life. He is the founder of the Swissvale Community Garden where he maintains the title of garden/ program coordinator. Leland also earned a B.S. in business marketing from the University of Central Florida and is eager to be a part of the fight to alleviate hunger.
