Local food rescues rely on volunteers to get completed every day! However, some food rescues are too big for a regular car and that is where our fleet department comes in.
If you’re passionate about making a difference and want to challenge yourself further, our open fleet position might be your next step. As a fleet team member, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our organization’s services reach those in need. At the heart of volunteering lies a service-minded approach—a dedication to putting the needs of others first. Our fleet team embodies this philosophy by going the extra mile to transport and distribute bulk food donations.
Join the Fleet Team
As a member of our fleet team, you’ll be at the forefront of the fight against food insecurity and food waste. As a Non-CDL Driver with 412 Food Rescue some of your responsibilities will include:
Pickup and Delivery: Safely transporting bulk food donations from donors to recipient organizations.
Logistical Expertise: Employing your organizational skills to plan and execute timely deliveries.
Community Impact: Playing a vital role in feeding individuals and families in need.
If you have a friend, family member, or colleague who embodies a passion for service, a drive to make a difference, and a service-minded attitude, we encourage you to share this opportunity with them.
What can you do to help in the meantime?
As we work to find another team member, we’re inviting you to participate in a unique opportunity. Would you be interested in following our fleet team on their routes and lending a helping hand? Your involvement during this interim period could make all the difference, allowing us to continue delivering essential resources to our community without interruption.
If you’re willing to be part of this solution, please reach out and let us know.
