2025 marks our 10-year anniversary—a milestone that celebrates a decade of impact while looking ahead to an even brighter future with the support of the entire 412 community.

Year-long celebrations will include a community event (4/12) honoring the collective efforts of our partners, volunteers, and supporters. Later
in the year, we’ll host an exclusive dinner, spotlighting our restaurant partners and their extraordinary talent by crafting a creative tasting menu using rescued food. Together, we’ll reflect on the past and envision what’s next for 412 Food Rescue!

412 Food Rescue has been a participating charity of the Pittsburgh Marathon Run For A Reason program since 2016. Our #MarathonHeroes have raised over $100,000 while achieving their personal goals. Your sponsorship has the potential to reach 412 Food Rescue’s audience of 418,000+ active community advocates.

This year, our seasonal CSA program is adding the option to pay shares forward! Sponsors can purchase donated “shares,” which allow us to distribute grocery bags of locally sourced produce throughout a 10 week season. Sponsored shares are a great way to directly impact communities in need.

Through our Volunteer Opportunities for Corporate Groups, your company can even assist our team in packing the shares!

On the road five-days a week, the 412 Food Rescue Fleet Team picks up bulk donations that a typical volunteer can not accommodate. Our two refrigerated box trucks and two vans travel over 66,000 miles through Southwestern PA and rescue
on average 2M pounds of food each year!
